Plenty of fresh fruit, light and offering immediate appeal - not quite what one would expect from this grape in a warm climate. Supple and silky (although a little grip arrives on the finish), there's even a refreshing mineral seam through the palate. Nice fruit detail. A well made, relaxed style.
The Finca was founded in 1999 by Rafa Bernabé and his wife Olga in the village of Villena in the heart of the sun-drenched Alicante region. The estate is now one of the area's most important wineries. Everything is organic and the estate's focus on obscure and unusual grape varieties has set the benchmark for pinpoint, terroir-driven wines from the region.
