Murgo Etna Bianco

Description

A delicate, floral white wine, vinified from fruit grown in volcanic soils, at 500m altitude on Sicily's Mount Etna. The high acidity of Carricante is balanced by the weightier texture of Catarratto, yielding a gorgeously pristine and elegant Bianco. Hint of chamomile, zesty lemon, stone fruit with soft, rounded and silky texture, with an intense finish of volcanic minerals.

Extra Notes

Made of two indigenous Italian varieties. In the vineyards they are practising sustainable vineyard management.

Wine Review

Murgo Etna Bianco

A stunner from beautiful Sicily, this blend of Carricante and Catarratto combine perfectly to result in a wine with notes of white flower and chamomile on the nose, with great structure and balance of citrus fruit and a little nectarine on the palate. The finish is long and persistent with great minerality throughout. Perfect with grilled fish.
