Logan Shiraz

Description

On the nose there’s a lovely blend of black and blueberries alongside some peppery oak. While in the mouth there’s some lovely berry fruits up front with a strong, everlasting spicy finish. There’s a bit of tobacco with cherry and blackberries. The tannins are well-integrated, smooth.

Extra Notes

A family owned business managed by Peter Logan. Grapes for this wine come from Orange which has one of the highest altitude in Australia. The vines are planted at 800 m altitude where the climate is rather cool and allows a long and even ripening period. The style of Peter’s wines combine the fresh, ripe Australian fruit with European finess.

Logan Shiraz

Amazing Shiraz from Logan Wines in Orange, Australia. Beautiful pure ripe fruit meats European influences to give us a Shiraz that is lighter in style that some of its Aussie counterparts, very elegant but with great structure. Enjoy!
