What's in the case
2x Ciello Bianco IGP (Sicilia, Italy)
Almost chalky and opaque this unfiltered organic Catarratto has a wonderful nose of white grape juice, mouth-filling with notes of pink grapefruit and apple and a slight spiciness from the lees.
2x Cora, Loxarel (Catalonia, Spain)
An intriguing blend of Muscat and Xarel-Lo from Penedes in the heart of Catalonia. Xarel-lo, in particular, is more often seen in Cava, much produced in this region, but here it melds beautifully with the attractively scented muscat to make a light in the mouth but flavour-filled wine.
2x Vincenzo Rosso, Fattoria Di Vaira (Molise, Italy)
This bold blend is a beautiful plummy hue in the glass, with notes of black currant, blackberries and spice. Full-bodied, but cleaner texture and ripe tannins on the finish. Give it a decent amount of air to let it expand to its full expression.
2x Ink, Weingut Judith Beck (Burgenland, Austria)
Dark ruby in colour, and quite opaque it has something of a dense appearance. The body, however, is medium weight and silky smooth with a refreshing hint of minerality. The soft and dark juicy fruit flavours are well balanced by the subtle earthy and spicy notes making an altogether very characterful and very drinkable wine.
