Buitenverwachting Hussey’s Vlei
The wine has a pale lemon yellow colour and a bouquet reminiscent of green peppers combined with herbaceous aromas as well as some rich stone fruit. Intense and powerful on the palate, while retaining the natural elegance of a cool climate style. The wine is dry, full bodied and has a long lingering finish.
This beautiful farm on the east-facing slopes of the magnificent Constantiaberg and barely 12km from False Bay, originally formed part of the Constantia Estate, which was founded by Simon van der Stel, the first Governor of the new Dutch colony at the tip of Africa.
