Pure and clean, this wine has a beautiful purple-red glow while its bouquet is intense and delicate, with typical fruity scents. The palate is dry and quite full-bodied for a Barbera with a really velvety structure.
The Cortese family has cultivated wine for about three generations, but it is since 1971 that they have started vinifying grapes on their own. The Giuseppe Cortese winery produces Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera, but is famous above all for its Barbaresco Rabajà. The Cortese winery doesn’t use chemical herbicides or any invasive treatment in its vineyards.
