Barbaresco
Description
Pale garnet in color, this wine offers delicately layered aromas of dried red cherries, plums, cola and sweet spice. On the palate, the wine is perfectly structured with integrated, fine-grained tannins and lively acidity, which along with its rich flavors, evolve into a sumptuously long finish.
Extra Notes
The Cortese family has cultivated wine for about three generations, but it is since 1971 that they have started vinifying grapes on their own. The Giuseppe Cortese winery produces Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera, but is famous above all for its Barbaresco Rabajà. The Cortese winery doesn’t use chemical herbicides or any invasive treatment in its vineyards.
