A Taste of North Italy

Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Italy is home to over 350 classified grape varieties (and another couple thousand unclassified!), so it is a bit of a minefield when it comes to choosing the right one! the difficulty is, but can also be an advantage, is that they have different names for the same grape, even in the same appellation! (Spoiler alert, Chiavennasca is an indigenous variety from Valtellina in Piemonte, but it's also known as Nebbiolo in Barolo, a mere 2 hours down the road, but it's much cheaper!). This is just one example of the incredible variety of wines we have available to us from just the North, let alone the rest of Italy.

Join us as we explore a selection if these indigenous varieties!
